On February 11, 2010, Mr.Andr└ Loesekrug Pietri
, the chairman of private equity and M & A working group of European Union Chamber of Commerce in China (EUCCC), and his accompanists visited Asian Business School, Tianjin University of Finance and Economics.
Mrs. Wang Yuying, the secretary of Party Committee, and Mr. Zhang Jiaxing, the president of Tianjin University of Finance and Economics, had the discussion meeting with Mr.Andr└ Loesekrug Pietri and his accompanists. Two parties mutually introduced their situations and wish that they could establish a long-term cooperative relationship. Mr. Long expressed the desire to cooperate with Asian Business School, and wished to conduct the teaching and cooperation activities with respect to the themes, such as the Investment of Private Equity Funds in China, the Overseas Investment and M&A of Chinese Enterprises, etc., with Asian Business School, and meanwhile, Mr. Long wished to cooperate with The China Dealmaker to establish the columns and publish the professional articles and research results, etc.
After the meeting, under the arrangement of Asian Business School, Mr. Long and his accompanists also met with Mr. Cui Jindu, the deputy mayor of Tianjin. The other leaders, including Mr. Chen Zongsheng, the deputy secretary-general of Tianjin government, Mr. Song Gangxin, the deputy director of Tianjin Municipal Commission of Development and Reform, and Mr. Du Qiang, the deputy director of financial service office of Tianjin, etc., participated together in this meeting.
Mr. Long greatly appreciated the kindly invitation and arrangement of Asian Business School. He stated that this visit was a good start, and two parties would jointly make the efforts to establish the all-win cooperative platform between the commercial enterprises of China and Europe in the fields of equity financing and professional training.
